Ted was a middle school teacher for 26 years and a River Watch teacher for 14 years. He taught 7th grade science at Eagle Valley Middle School for 15 years and helped with the development of the local Walking Mountains Science Center in Avon, Colorado, serving on their Board and developing field science curriculum. Ted now works for the Vail Ski School teaching disabled and able-bodied children, adults and veterans to ski. He continues to work with the River Watch staff in training new River Watch teachers.
Zach Smith, Vice President & Treasurer

Zach has been the Staff Attorney for the Colorado Water Trust since 2010. He is a member of the FLOWS Subcommittee for the Poudre Runs Through It, stakeholder group in Fort Collins. He is a recent graduate of the Colorado Foundation for Water Education's Water Leader Program.
Brian Epstein, Secretary
Brian is a hydrologist for the Colorado Water Conservation Board's Stream and Lake Protection Section. Previously, he served as a water commissioner for the lower Roaring Fork River. Brian recently graduated from the Colorado Foundation for Water Education's Water Leader Program.
Kelly is the Water Resources Manager for the City of Steamboat Springs. She also sits on the Steering Committee for the Upper Yampa Watershed Group, a group which she founded in 2010.
