COLORADO HEALTHY RIVERS FUND
is alive and well!

The Colorado Watershed Assembly (CWA) is committed to reviving the Colorado Healthy Rivers Fund (HRF) with a new marketing and fundraising strategy. Administration of the fund will still benefit from the insights and perspectives of the Colorado Water Conservation Board and Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment staff. CWA will continue this unique collaboration for the benefit of watershed groups throughout Colorado.

Donations to the HRF can now be made by anyone...at any time...not just tax time!

What's a Watershed?

In simple terms, a watershed is the area of land that is uphill from a point in a stream that forms a collection basin (almost like a funnel) for precipitation (rain and snow) that will eventually flow down to that point in the stream.
